Eyelid ptosis is the drooping of the upper eyelid. This abnormal position of the eyelid is usually caused by a dysfunction of the levator muscle, whether due to degenerative or congenital causes, and can affect both adults and children. The treatment of eyelid ptosis allows us to improve the field of vision by raising the eyelid again while improving the physical appearance of the affected person by improving their gaze.
